Not sure why you said I am complaining.... I was the first to say I know nothing about UBNJ, as I don't see a big presence in Sussex Cty or know anyone that is particularly active w the organization. Simply asked what they are about. I went on the website and mentioned they helped with distance laws & Sunday hunting. I don't recall it saying anything about fighting anti-hunting laws (may have). Crossbows always will be a controversial topic.....what is the UBNJ stance on them today??? I don't care if you hunt w a crossbow or not (do what makes you happy)! Though, I personally think a crossbow is more of a gun than a bow (my opinion).

JUST ASKING A QUESTION.............I often hear that UBNJ protects a bow hunters rights. How do they do this? I see dinners here and there, and read on their website that they secured Sunday bowhunting & allowed for 150 feet rule from elevated platform (all good things). I just know little about them; other than seeing few stickers on vehicles & a dinner here or there.

All depends on how far you are willing to go.................I have fished the Nine Mile Creek in Camillus, NY. Took me about 3 hours from my house. It is a great place to fish and stocked well by the NYDEC. It is about an hour and 20 from New Berlin. I started behind the Camillus Fire Department and fished down stream. Caught lots. 2 closer spots would be the Genegantslet Creek & Otselic River....never fished either. The unadilla river is also an option.

My childhood buddy moved to Oswego, NY about 25 years ago and has been fishing the lake non stop since then. Typically Kings show up early June....not this year. The past week it's been on fire!!!! Usually brown trout in the shallows. Kings are in 50-100 ft of water, stacked thick! My buddy was 14 for 17 by 9 am this morning....all on spoons.
