Think this is a buck I called scar. Think he got hit by a car.

This is him last year. No rack. Can't find the pictures of him when it first happened. he looked bad and wasn't sure if he would make it.

Definitely looks like the same deer, he seems to have healed up fine. Deer are tough.

He might be on it. Looks like he will be a 10 pt had no idea he would be a real nice buck like this.

Maybe he got nicked by a projectile. I had a doe underneath my stand once, that had a scar running front to back, on top of it's head. Observing it's behavior, I came to the conclusion, that it was a deer that I saw the previous year, cross a field, and get shot with a round ball. The deer then got up and fell down 2 or 3 times, then got up and ran off. The guy who shot it, did not take a second shot and did not find blood or the deer. The deer that was under my stand would not go out of the thicket, the edge of which, I was set up on. It just milled around, looking out across the field where I think it got shot, eventually turning back into the thick.

Yeah we will see Lou. Hopefully I can find a more mature one. He is nice but not sure on his age. I think 3.5
