10/9 live from DMZ 5

I have Swedishhunter from NJH with me today. He drove through Hurricane Matthew from Sea Bright. He is a very experienced rifle hunter in Sweden but the goal today is to get him a buck with bow - his first bow kill. Any buck. Fingers crossed he gets a shot! He is in my hardwoods I am on neighbor's land by. Immunity scrape. Wind is brutal up here but rain is holding off.

I have a buck by me. 6pt I think. If it were a slammer I would have to wait in between gusts.

no arrow. just a few specs of muscle blood. Grid searched for over an hour, last spot was 200 yards in. Not looking good, I am thinking shoulder. Gonna see if my lab can pick up trail.  Sorry not better news.
