JHbowhunter
Went to check my new mineral site a week ago, after a 4 week avoidance period. Typical me - didn't turn the cam on . Oh well it was on for the past week, and only got 993 pics! Just a lot of deer and bucks hitting the A&W Mineral Magnet really really hard, like best I have ever seen. (rimmed with lucky buck, but have already weaned them off that to the A&W). A little disappointed that there do not appear to be any mature bucks around or hitting minerals yet. I will bore you with a bunch of pics now... SPEARFISH
Saw it. Those deer need to eat some food. What is that a diet supplement you put out?

A&W Mineral Magnet - powdered minerals, and yes it's a good healthy diet supplement. The deer always look thin after a long winter and beat up because their coats are in transition right now. Devil Horns
the buck on the left on 5/7 @ 5:19 looks like he is growing out rather than up. May be a wide one. I'm your Huckleberry

May be a wide one. yes it does appear that one got the width gene, I am hoping his 10pt daddy shows up, as he was 3.5 years old last year and I purposely avoided hunting him to see what he turns into. I thought he made it - had him with half-shed after deer seasons stopped, but that doesn't mean he made it. I don't think there is a buck in any of those pictures over 2 years old, but I could be wrong, they all look pretty thin and small right now. 3Blade
Nice pics. That big wide eyed doe looks like she is super cautious, you may have to take her for a ride to the butcher once the season opens before she ruins some of your hunts. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
_X7
I see they talk to the turkeys now and then, too. As far as food goes, it is a time of plenty for the deer. I had a pair of little bucks here that were eating everything from the little white flowers in the grass to nipping buds off of the shrubbery. They chewed for the whole time.
