Turkey - Skin or Pluck

Since it's turkey week, I thought I'd toss this question.  Do you skin or pluck your turkey?

 

I usually just skin them and then quarter them.  Anyone else go the plucking route or keep them whole for roasting?  If I bag one this week I was considering plucking to keep the skin and then roasting the whole bird for Thanksgiving.  But plucking is...well...work.  So I thought I'd ask the pluckers out there if it was worth it and what method you recommend.

I wish I could take a fall turkey to Goffle Road Poultry!! Unfortunately, my 2 weeks of scouting has me thinking I'm barking up the wrong zones!. Not asking for a handout, but I'm assuming public lands around the Hawthorne area may be fruitful??!! Nudge, Nudge, wink, wink?

public land to hunt around Hawthorne doesn't exist
