I am still waiting to hear the answer to, "Who made it gospel that sentience is the demarcation line?" But lest I go off on a philosophical tangent... I'll just end here.

Well, I’m going straight to Hell. I brought in a “leaf pack” to students at one of the TIC (trout in the classroom) programs today and after we identified the macro invertebrates, we fed them to the trout in their tank in the classroom.
