The Aluminum ones are very heavy but if you are using them in a ground blind or to sight-in, who cares. 

I may order another one just for the hell of it. Bought one last year for $115 and I thought that was a great price!

That's the one I was telling you about, A little bulky but great for sighting in you gun or crossbow! You can shoot standing up.

They make a treestand " bog pod". The base attaches to the stand, and it swivels around. I had one, never used it and sold it. I have safety rails on all my ladder stands and manage with them.
