Bears, anyone still have them on cam?

Wondering how many others have lost their bears as of a week and a half ago? If you have some are they still on cam and daylight? I am sure once the woods come alive with the orange army many will be back on thier feet. Next fall will be different for sure though, since there everywhere in October

Nope, not since last Tuesday morning at 8:30am. All nighttime visits now . . .

I just had a big sow and her 3 cubs in the yard.  All 4 were round black blobs they are so fat this year.

Nocturnal on camera's.  Did see one walking thru woods Monday morning, not where I am going to hunt six-day.  Did drive a few out  - pieces we will drive again next Friday and Saturday.  For me, the way things look now, its gonna be 50/50 if I have the opportunity to shoot one.

Take a few weeks of that steady to make them want to hibernate and that's temporary unless its a pregnant sow.

Not only that, but the lowest predicted temps the next 7 days is one night at 32, nothing in the 20s or even close.  Several nights in the 40s, and that's for northwest NJ.  

 

Will, yes, I still have bears day and night.  Had to chase one off on Monday morning walking in to my stand during muzzle loader because he was asleep 20 yards from my gun stand.  The last two years, our bears dwindled from Thanksgiving on, disappearing completely the Saturday before the Monday 6 Day opener.  So far, we have a lot more activity over this time the last few years, but we won't know much until Monday, I guess.

Mine disappeared... With limited time because of a 5m old I had to half ass it this yr

I got lots of them.  Checked the cameras this morning.  I have 7 bears in 4 hunting locations all coming in in shooting light.

This is the time of the year when everyone is baiting hard. Bears aren't dumb..the question is ..your seeing them on camera but are you seeing them when your in your stand?

Last bear i have on camera was on saturday afternoon, nothing since. Bears were very active about two weeks ago, then started showing up every 2-3 days, now nada!
