Yes you can buy conversion kits from oil to gas boiler instead of replacing entire unit if you’d like.

Who's putting in your gas boilers lol? Because I get 6-7 grand all day long!! Tankless boiler 7500-8500.

I have a gas line that runs across my driveway and the gas company still wont run a line to my house.  Not even at my expense.

I'm saying 7 to 8 total labor and materials that is still alot of bread. And if his existing isn't that old I see why he doesn't want to.

im not switching to gas. i had a feeling this thread would turn down this road lol. 

i dont mind filling my oil tank twice a year. im just looking for more space in my basement. for example. a slimmer oil tank or moving it outside.

maybe. but me filling my oil tank twice a year is nothing. it comes out to be about 75 dollars a month. i could fill my oil tank twice a year for the next 10 years for the price of converting to natural gas now.

Mute point, but look at gas dryer, hot water heater,  stove, and added selling value to home down the road, not having oil.  Just some thoughts.
