Been to NO twice. One for Mardi gras and the other a music festival in the fall.  In the french quarter it's a good time.  You go 2 miles outside that area in the wrong direction and you will have trouble.  NO is a great place. Lots of history. Lots of good music and great food.   Situational awareness is key.

Good observation. Never thought of it like that. Just peculiar to me how the shootings just keep happening like crazy and ironically started up after the new administration took over and started their push for heavier gun control.
