Shrubbery is kind of expensive to feed to the deer.!!

Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return, is enough to bury those that did not return. COLIN POWELL

Thought  we had escaped them this year as I haven't seen them around all summer or fall until yesterday when I saw their tracks and where they had browsed during the night.....

They find my English ivy which was completely covered by the snow and paw the snow away and eat it until only the bare roots are left.  They either know its there from past years or they can smell it thru the snow.  Fortunately it is hardy and it grows back.

They also hit the bird feeders and empty the seed also.

At 3 am this morning there were 4 in my front and driveway that I saw eating the ivy and 3 in the back yard eating bird seed.

I thought, growing old would take longer !

I spent most of my money on shotguns and fly rods.  The rest I just wasted.
