Rutting Buck Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Is anyone else having problems with the site running slow & slow at loading? "Your short on ears and long on mouth"
0 hunterbob1 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Holy Toledo John you are sometin else.lol “In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen.” -Theodore Roosevelt
0 BowhunterNJ Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Bob, can you see Featured Content in IE11 now?
0 Haskell_Hunter Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 IE won't load both SSL and non-SSL connections on the same page unless you explicitly tell it to. Try resetting IE back to defaults, reboot, and then load the webpage. When it asks you if you are okay loading encrypted/SSL/etc. and non-secure stuff from this site, say, "okay" and allow it do to that for this site. It looks like it's no loading external/non-SSL content and that could be the root cause. BHNJ, are you using an SSL redirect from http:// to https:// if the browser first goes to the non-SSL page? Bookmarks to the http:// url could also be causing problems. BowhunterNJ 1 Sapere aude. Audeamus. When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.
0 BowhunterNJ Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Yeah, all HTTP is perm redirected to HTTPS, whether directly here or any of the parked domains I have. I thought when Axiom said he was on Google, he was on Chrome...not IE. Definitely could be a setting where your browser isn't allowing mixed content. Axiom, what browser version are you on?

0 Axiom Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 .. IE works fine on my lap top... so the problem has to be with my settings... Odd considering everything WAS working good until the changes were made today..
0 Hatchet Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 when I click into a forum I get a box at the bottom of the screen that say "only secure content is displayed " I cant post or see vids unless I hit show all You add camo to anything, it immediately becomes cool.
0 Matty Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I got 99 problems....but a faulty internet explorer 11 browser ain't one. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
0 BowhunterNJ Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 OK, so since the site is now fully SSL based (which is a great thing), the problem comes down to browser settings/configurations. Internet Explorer is the biggest pain of them all and every single version of IE seems to act differently. I'll keep troubleshooting to try to get things working, but it's difficult for me to know what settings any of you have that could be impacting this.
