Is anyone else having problems with the site running slow & slow at loading?

"Featured Content" does not load for me. IE 11

Yes Ive been having problems with the main page slow loading. No other sites open as slow for some reason. Its been happening since the main page was changed

It loads slow on my I phone, sometimes I get boot out. Not sure  but I think when there's a few video in the shout I notice it more. On my LT the site loads fine but the feature contents n the amazon store keeps loading til I click forums then then every thing loads !

Yeah you guys keep posting videos in the shoutbox that doesn't help since those need to be loaded every time on the main page.

I might clear out the videos and disable posting videos there.

 

The Amazon ads aren't mobile friendly unfortunately. That's an Amazon implementation issue, just the way their ads are.

Usually they'll just load empty (no content) on mobile devices.

I removed the videos, any better? That will at least determine if the videos are an issue.

I hear that.  I have a Flash blocker on all my browsers, which makes surfing a much, much better experience. I miss 90% of the ads on the web, and pages load faster with resounding stability.

Yeah, I totally understand that.  I hate Flash.

At some point I'll probably look to use more ads similar to the Camofire ad, which I built myself.
