Probably suicide attempt. There was a suicide with a crossbow a few years ago in my area. Most suicides don't make the news.

What a painful way to do it.... Prayers for this man. If it was a suicide attempt, then I hope this incident makes him realize he has more to live for.

There’s a lot of easier ways to shoot ones self in the head. Would take a lot of effort to pull this one off...
