Is he going to use a full blind or half blind ?

reason I ask is the 62" bows only let you shoot really comfortable out of the corner window unless really lay the bow over .

the half blinds don't cover you as well but really make it easier to shoot , as would a natural blind .

just FYI # minimum is 35

Not to rain on his parade, but it's going to take quite a bit of practice before he will get in to the woods and shoot anything with a stick and string, especially a turkey with vitals the size of a baseball

That kid has great eye to hand coordination, could see that in his welding . Betting he is deadly with it quick at closer yardages .

ten yards or under with big broad head will be dead bird 

 

turkey has 3 baseball sized vitals with a bow .

breast area really is the only no mans land . Any of other three put a bird down quick

Half blind  for sure and we have three natural type blinds set up to keep him hidden. He bought the bow and arrows , so I purchased the next set of limbs to up the poundage so he’s legal.  Thanks guys!!  I’ll let you know how he does!

Right on. I wasn't doubting that part of it. Just the questioning the ability of a newcomer to be consistent enough to hit small vitals on a moving target under pressure with a stick and string.  

You certainly know what you're doing, so I trust what you're saying.
