I had the most bear activity at the end of the year in those frigid temps also. they became very active in my spots right AFTER the extended bear season!

Say goodbye to the bear hunts, and hello to more bear tracks all year long.

Before the 1st bear hunt, I was seeing 1-5 bear every time I went out.  Had a lot of close encounters including a charge, and being stalked.  It only took a couple decades to go from never seeing a bear, to not being able to avoid them.  It won't take long at all to get back to that point since they are already established.
