Da BEST venison burgers! (PIX)

Whipped these up today, came out awesome.

In a mixing bowl, combine ground venison, dijon mustard, ketchup. I don't measure anything, so use your best judgement. Saute up some diced garlic, onions, and jalapeños. Add that to the mix. Combine well, and let sit for about an hour. Heat your grill till its burning hot, put the burgers down. Cook for 5 minutes without F'ing with them. Flip once. Cook 4 minutes, add cheese, cook 1 more minute, and remove. I topped mine with mayo, ketchup, and dijon mustard. Also grilled up some onions, peppers, and zucchini .. I like my veggies grilled well done, but do it anyway you want. Throw the grilled veggies on top with some pickle slices, and enjoy.

Looks nice man. Did you ever try my chilli when I brought it into work?

I like this guy's style.

Only thing that bothers me is the "not measuring" anything part, but that's just my Chemistry background rearing its' ugly head.  That plating looks absolutely DELICIOUS, and motivated me to take some ground venison out of the freezer tonight.

As far as burger mix goes 80% venison 20% bacon is my favorite.

Serious question...... why do so many people feel the need to mix a "fat" with their venison?    I dont understand the purpose.

Thanks! The presentation is definitely important. My wife yells at me all the time for not measuring. I just kinda add stuff by eye. Of course my meals never come out exactly the same tho lol

Yup, no bread. It wasn't an easy decision lol As we were eating I told my wife we shoulda got a couple nice rolls, but trying to keep things as healthy as possible.

Gotta' bun it up.  It captures all of that delicious grease and toppings.  That's where all the flavor is.

Sapere aude.

Audeamus.

When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.
