nice looking gun i have a remington 750 carbine in 35 whelen also looking for the holy grail a 7600 35 whelen carbine also have my eye on a savage 375 ruger stainless.

A great cartridge. Unfortunately, it never experienced the wide acclaim of rounds like the 270, 30-06 or 7 mag., but it's a wonderful North American big game cartridge. Nice rifle.

Jim Kobe was the gunsmith. The barrel and action is a Montana. The wood is walnut from New Zealand. Hope to start a second one to match in 257 roberts.
