While I use them a ton watching heavy cover , I use them even more looking at every shooting lane for spider branches etc . That are tough to see with the naked eye .

I would leave my release home before my binocs

Binos are my most important tool in my arsenal.  I use them scouting, spotting, watching, etc.  I would never be able to hunt effectively without binos!
