Frog ID Help

My son thought he seen a small jumping spider but upon closer inspection turned out to be a small frog. About 1/4 the size of a human fingernail. Anyone know the species? I was thinking newborn toad? 
PS No frogs were harmed during this pic and safely placed back into its natural habitat

Hard to tell but possible "Spring Peeper"
