Reformat you’re card is very time you put it back to your cam.

Each camera's menu system should have an option to "format".  Again a camera's "format" may not do the same thing your computer format will do.   Best to use the cameras "format" IMO.

Then do it on your PC. If you have point and shot cam it will have formal function on it as well

I use the Wildgame Trail Tablet. It ha the format option on the home screen. This is my third card reader and I really like it so far
