New Hunter from Jersey City

Hi, I'm a new hunter from JC. I've only done one hunt so far in West Texas for wild hog but am interested in deer. I did my hunter education last year in rifle and shotgun but none of my family or friends hunt so would be great to get local knowledge and etiquette in getting started in NJ.

 

Also, if anyone needs a hunting buddy and has a bit of patience, I'll repay in homemade smoked goods.
