Still at it with 2 full days left. Days have been starting at 430 wake up and getting back to camp around 930 pm. Passed on a bunch of smaller bucks and smaller bulls. Will probably look at a cow elk today or tomorrow and hold out for a mature Mule Deer. I have seen on 190” buck that we tried to hunt him all day yesterday but he out smarted us. Here are a few pics of the scenery of where we hunted yesterday.

In a change of events we bedded a really good bull and will chase him tonight. We rode out of the area about a mile away and I was able to fill my Mule Deer tag better pictures to follow

Looks like no Elk for me this year. I will update some more photos later on. Guide and I gave it 100 percent, he even added an extra day and a half due to the fires. I plan on being back next year. We are on the mountain now and will be heading down after a nap and letting the horses rest.
