Buck154
Has to be up some. I went up north Jersey yesterday and all the streams in that area looked good. Little high but still clear. I went up to the Gap on the Delaware

Buck154
How high was the river? Did you go for shad? Was about 3 foot high and a little dirty and cold. I still hooked about a dozen. JHbowhunter, Live to Hunt, hemlock and 1 other

Bucksnbows
see link for CFS & gage height https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nj/nwis/uv/?site_no=01440000&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060,62614 Those USGS gauges are your friends as many of us know. They always tell the story if you know how to read them. Flat Brook should be in fine condition right now and is only very slightly above average flows for today. Hatches will soon be our sulphurs, but LBS, blue quills (Paraleps), Hendricksons, and BWOs are hatching still on local waters. March Browns should also be in the mix or soon be. My birthday is May 15, and the sulphurs will be on all trout waters by that day in most years. We are slightly behind normal with our hatches this spring so far and that is all dependent on what entomologists call "degree days". With a late winter and high water in March and April, the bug hatches have slowed slightly and that has caused some hatches to come off later than normal. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
