My Urban Turkey Flock

These same birds have been around my house and surrounding area all winter Don't seem to be nesting yet. That Big Tom seems to tolerate

the other males. but one tom is sure beat up,  All photos are not zoomed I can get within 5 ft till they get jittery and just walk off,  Notice the colorations NJDFAG considers these HyBreeds and traps and destroys them.  You do the math if all these hens lay 12 Eggs.

Also, this is one flock out of many in My town and surrounding towns in Monmouth County.

I like the HyBreeds. Cool looking color almost like a Merriam but with the white on more than his tail tips. Frosted look
