Ladder stands/relocating them

Just curious. How many guys actually move/relocate ladder stands that they have put up over the years?

Some of our established ones are placed in spots and are meant  to stay, but over the last few years I have found myself moving some to other farms or locations on different properties....... (This I will admit is a total pain in the a$@) but the alternative is buying new ladder stands each and every time which is out of the question lol....

Since my son is only 11, I feel the ladders are the safest way for him to get off the ground right now when we are not in a ground blind. (Before Junior I would always climb with my API)

Also, if leaving the stands up, every couple years it makes sense to replace the ratchet straps with new ones just to be on the safe side..

I move them every once in a while if necessary, but avoid it at all cost.  My buddy had a stand in PA that was there long enough to where the bottom of the ladder was 4" off the ground!  When I got on his s!@# about it he said, "No it's good, when I get up in it the ladder touches the ground."  I just shook my head
