I agree with the activity from what I have seen recently at night......Appears that things are starting to happen way earlier than usual........

I shot a decent 8 out of that stand in 2010, morning of October 4th. It was in a similar group of bachelors, about 7 of them or so. I also recall rattling them in from the thicket into the open, they all came looking for me.  As I demonstrated last night, very light rattling (imitate sparring, not all out buck war) can work in the early season just don't overdo it.
