I have not seen a turkey in my yard in over a year. They are funny and come in waves. One year I was practically hand feeding them.

I have not seen Turkeys in My yard and neighborhood now for 5 years The NJDFAG  frowned on them as not being pure  natives and with all the Complaints of attacks and taking over Yards & Roads they began removing them,
