NY legal crossbows recommendations

I'm looking to get a crossbow for the upcoming season. It seems like it would be easier for inside of the blind with the kids. I'm looking for one that is NY legal and doesn't break the bank. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

what's your budget and what's NY's legal requirements ?

NY has a special crossbow season. They do not allow crossbows in all regular archery seasons like NJ does. Check their online regs for more details.  I’ll try to find that and post it here.

They have to be 17" wide limb to limb which really limits what I have found.
