In Need of plumber

You dig one hole at the curb box. Disconnect at the curb and in the house. Send a 3/8ths cable through the old line. Connect the new copper or Polly to the back of the wedge in the house. As you pull from the road with a machine or truck it splits the old line and pulls the new line right through. What kind of line do your currently have? Copper poly or galvanized?

Bob check your homeowners insurance there should be coverage for service lines . I think that covers water ,sewer and electric lines from street to house . Might help pay for it .

I never heard that before, unless damaged by storm.

What is a service line in insurance?

Service line coverage is insurance against unexpected expenses related to the damage of service lines on your property, such as power lines, phone and cable lines, water and sewer pipes and more. It covers the potentially costly expenses of excavation and repair of underground wiring and piping.

Get a contract and specific scope of work. Lots of really good guys out there but if you are not exactly sure of what you are buying a change order could happen real quick.
