you are limited with ammo

For day hunting:

Shotgun: single or double barrel. Not smaller than 20 gauge or larger than 10 gauge, capable of holding no more than 3 shells. Shot Size: no smaller than BB or larger than #3 Buck. Pellets must be lead or a tungsten-nickel-iron hybrid

For night:

Shotgun: single or double barrel. Not smaller than 20 gauge or larger than 10 gauge, capable of holding no more than 3 shells. Shot Size: no smaller than #4 fine shot or larger than T

Totally agree - I'd love to ask the  person who came up with those rules what they were thinking... so stupid.

I keep it simple - get some Coyote "T" shells and you're good to go for day or night and you don't have to think about it (though during the day, I take a rifle).

I have a box of these that I bought from a forum member years ago - I still haven't shot a single shell yet  ... can never call them in.

I searched for years for lead 2 and BB,i found the 2. Haven't been able to call any in either. I used my 50cal muzzle loader during the day and shotgun at night loaded with 2s. Could not find dead coyote locally.

Can you use rifle on WMA's with the right permits? Don't see anything in the digest about being able to use rifles or not on WMA's.
