Had a big body button buck watch me get up tree, pull xbow up, put jacket on. Opened velcro pocket to get hat out gone to the sound of Velcro. Crazy dumb or starving

My mid day adventure turned up little but a squirrel flipping out when it realized the leg it jumped on was alive. I flipped out a little too. Looking to see some rut action that most are talking about. The woods are seemingly barren.

Back in zone 2. Saw 6 relaxed does and fawns plus 1 dink who tried to harass them this morning. Good luck all.

I'm in.  10 just left..  5 big does 2 buttons 2 doe fawns and a small 6 that came in and started pushing them around

went mobile to climb a new tree and forgot my haul rope so I sat the ground expecting a shot left or right. Unmistakable big body twig snap behind the hedgerow i'm in and something blows out. That was that.
