ANY CHUKAR STOCKING FOR DOG TRAINING REPORTS

I went out to Colliers Mills Saturday morning  nd spoke with 4 other guys running their dogs and only one guy found only one chukar way out of the dog training area.

My GPS told me that I covered 2 miles and my GSP 10 and she never really became seriously bird y the entire time out.

One of the guys mentioned that they put a small number of them out early on Friday afternoons and probably guys were in there after that until evening?

Just got back from Clinton and my Springers flushed one. Not sure if it was a State released bird, there was a fellow there with a english pointer and he said he had released some himself for training.

I almost ran one over at the bend in the road heading back to the gun range. There were a ton of guys down there saturday morning training. This one ran towards the new archery range.

Found a chukar today at Colliers Mills. My dog pointed it and I almost had to kick it to get it to flush. She followed it up and pointed and flushed it again. It is well hidden in the one picture.

Our German Short Haired got 1 chukkar & had a 2nd one  running through a hedge row that we never saw. I also found one dead tore up one. This was all at Black River in Chester.
