Going to Islamorada end of January. Any recommendations on a charter Capt.?

January is prime sailfish time for that area.

There's a excellent restaurant next to the marina that will take care of that, if you book with Jim he will fill you in

I fished on a party boat near Robby's place for a bachelor party the one year. Caught all sorts of fish like yellowtail and had action nearly the entire time.

Nice Larry. There will be a lot there. Bottom fishing is super down there.  Never know what you will catch.

Larry look into renting a CC that’s what I did last time I was there. We stayed in Marathon. Bottom fishing is not hard at all and Yellowtails are like sunnies. By renting you can fish multiple days as long as the weather is good. For the price of a charter you can get a decent boat for a few days! 
If your thinking about fishing the flats or offshore that’s a different story.
