Thank god it looks like the rest of the weekend will be good

Lake Hopatcong is finally full and spilling. Out streams moved some sediment up north but didn't flood. Everyone of them is receding this morning. Let's see what the rest of the week brings.

I still think we need at least another 10" over 30 days to saturate the ground and get some water into the aquifers but not run off too quickly to not make a difference.  0.5" every other day or so for a month.  Kind of like Spring.

Just run a line from my sump pump it has been on and off for 2 days now only Sandy did that was always dry Dam Global Warming

0.5" is a good amount.  Some of those storms will bring some rain, but I don't think enough.

 

This is a good start and should minimize the flooding.
