about 8 to 12 feet up depending on my mood. the ground slopes down so it looks lower.  can't lie to you,. i just turned 60 last week,. i am a coward. no need to climb so high to kill deer.  harvested a few out of that tree.

 

I am also 60 and being smart is not cowardice. Those darn cell phones screw me up during duck hunting.
