My groupings are getting tighter, and apparently more expensive as a result.  Put one arrow through the shaft of another.  I also split one of my daughter's aluminum arrow in half too.

How did that happen exactly? You hit the other arrow nearly parallel and it pierces the shaft fibers like that?

Yeah, I was practicing with the kids and I took a front quartering shot on the target (spot on, if I might add).  Then the next 4 arrows were broadside.  So I got unlucky and hit this arrow's shaft in just the right way.  All field points.

There's always an excuse to buy new arrows.  We have an old planter that is serving as out arrow graveyard.  I'll have to take a photo of it and post it.  You can roast marshmallows with the broken aluminum ones.

Same here.  My Blob target has 9 small dots and I don't shoot at the same one twice when practicing.  I can't afford lots of new arrows

The arrow graveyard.  Where all good arrows go to die, and all aluminum arrows become marshmallow holders for the fire...

 

It's also a good place to launch bottle rockets from.
