12/1 Zone 5 live bow hunt

Was itching to get out so left JC at noon and got in my community scrape stand by 2:40. Overcast with gusty West winds. Temp falling fast. Ground is soaked based on cam having only 17 pics instead of usual 200+ I surmise they been buried in tight from all the rain. Conditions seem perfect for deer movement. Hoping to meet the big bodied mature bully 7pt. He been here every single morning and afternoon that I am not. In fact Monday he was here 8:20am I got down at 8. Last time I did a live hunt from this stand I shot the "Longhorn" buck so hoping this brings good luck. The pic is from Saturday from my quad as I went in to check cam. Just need him to walk that way tonight.

and that's a wrap... Rookie mistakes will burn you every time...  This is about the time of year I stop hunting that stand because it's too open, you can't even blink an eye.

If you want you can use some of my custom life like decoys to divert the bucks attention.It's no problem I have like 5 of or 6 and a sled to pull them in case it snows.
