I'm old lol

When I left highschool my shop teacher said if you can't read a ruler you fall.

I'm will to bet close to half Americans can't read one.

It's so sad but at least my kids can 

 

Not a complete a$$ hole just one of the dingle berries that hang off it.

I'd be willing to bet its more than half who cant read a ruler properly. 

Great job with the kid.  I love seeing good parenting.

Metric is not so bad, when I was a cabinet maker and we had to use the 32mm system so the boss could impress the clients it was a PITA

Standard base cabinet is 23.875" deep and 34.5" tall yet I had to cut 606 deep and 876 tall to make metric match standard.
