Colliers Mills, anybody out today? ( Monday)

Heard a few shots, My Britt grabbed a cripple (hen bird) in the dog training area, then hunted the front, dog went on point along field in blow down (hen bird) was climbing over dead tree branches when bird flushed, shot twice, missed. Ran into VDEP ( Vito). Every day out is a good day.

Hit black river no birds but pup did nice . She will stay home in morning may go back out in afternoon with her.

Had a horrible average.  Killed 1 for 6.  Missed in the thick stuff.  Jd48 was gracious enough to give me is hen bird.  After seeing him ot the oaks n put up one more n didn't miss so went home with two hen birds

went to Manasquan today. First time ever trying for pheasant. Didn't see a thing.

Negative.   Just 2 quail..  gonna try again tomorrow after work

Like I said to you today, better to lose your keys than the dog or the gun.

We went out in Assunpink this afternoon. Saw a couple along a hedgerow but both times they flushed to the other side.  I like hunting off days when there is hardly anyone else out.
