Heard next year diamond jigs aren’t allowed .

Thank God I use epoxy jigs. Those diamonds are expensive

I was not a fan of the slot even though I exclusive fish back bays and that was to be the beneficiary by and large, compared to the guys fishing for them out front. I barely went this season partially as a result of the slot regs and just the cost for fuel this summer. I only fished a handful of days in mid June. As much as I enjoy just getting out, running around, and catching some fish, I did not like feeling hamstrung to keep slots and then 'search' for an over, or vice versa. I prefer just a set length and number of fish I can keep.
