This has been an issue for a few decades, but is getting much worse the last maybe 5 years or so.

I was a victim of this about 4 years ago on my mason dump.  
It only takes seconds to remove on trucks

We have several commercial truck dealerships, truck rental companies, along with some big distribution centers for Amazon, Target, and other shipping companies not far from us and they are getting catalytic converters stolen all the time. They've also been stealing PCM from some of the trucks lately.

It cost me $900 for an aftermarket and lost a days pay for me and my worker while truck was at the mechanics

What is/are PCM?  I’m not familiar. I can’t imagine the nightmare this is for larger truck operators like you described.

these scumbags should put as effort into getting a education and a job as they do stealing
