Trout Fishing Alternative

With all the high muddy waters, there is an alternative to trout fishing. I was down in the pinelands today. Water never gets muddy there due to the sandy soil.   Water was nice and blue looking in pictures even though it does have a dark cedar tint. Had a great day. Fished hard for 5 and a half hours in beautiful weather. Caught 40 up to 21 inches and left them still hungry but 40 was enough for one day. I will try some trout fishing tomorrow in Mercer County area.

Nice work. And beautiful scenery but cmon man it's trout season opener!! There is no alternative to that!

Pickerel?? That is like comparing nymph fishing to dry....we all know nymphing is far superior
