OK, so with the 2014 Velvet Whitetail Deer Trailcam Contest entry period ending, I'm firing up the voting topic! :up:
Thanks to all who have entered and good luck in the final voting! :)
 
Prize:  Pick your trailcam(s) from Amazon.com for a total/cumulative value of up to $150.  NJ Woods & Water will pay for the trailcam(s) and ship them directly to your door!  Alternate item substitution from Amazon.com permitted.
 
 
Voting rules:

  • One picture per member to be used in the poll.
  • One vote per member can be cast.  Any member can vote for any picture.
  • Voting will be open for 7 days once the poll is officially opened.  Poll ends on Monday 10/13/2014 at 1:00PM EST
  • The winner with the most votes will win the prize!
    • In the event of a 3-way or less tie, we will split the prize pool by the number of winners. ($50 per 3-way winner, $75 per 2-way winner, $150 for 1-exclusive winner)
    • In the event of a 4-way or more tie, we will narrow down the voting poll entries and have a second voting poll with those subset of entries to determine a winner (3-way or less).

So there were a few lessons learned in running this contest...
1) We should only submit 1 picture per post/entry so it makes it easier which one to choose (i.e. which one is most liked)
2) We should probably have a minimum number of likes to qualify for the poll.
 
To address the issues above for this current contest, I've basically pre-selected a picture from any member who has 3 or more Likes on their set(s) of trailcam pictures.
I'll give the members 3 days (until Sunday 10/05/2014 at 8:00PM) to change their final chosen poll picture before officially starting the topic.  Please let me know either here or via PM whether you'd like to keep your existing picture or update it.  If you are updating it, please send me the corresponding picture and/or link from the contest entry topic.
