We aim at vitals...& usually the bullet /buckshot passes thru the deers vitals n burrows into the ground....if it doesn’t pass thru n lodges in the hide then it’s going home w the carcass the hunter drags out

we aim at vitals, recover the deer, gut it, n drag it out

Eagles eat gutpiles but there shouldn’t be any significant amount of lead in gutpiles

very true!

somewhat overlooked that vitals are dressed out w the rest of the gut pile...but I can’t ever remember finding my bullet.  But also I hardly use buckshot either....

anyone using buckshot finding pellets in their quarry??
