By the way, is there any way to get the farmer to leave some beans standing the whole year?  Maybe pay to leave some up? 

 

They will kill them again later in the year. After the rut and into the winter they crave the protein the beans give them, plus most food sources become scarce by late season, so if you still happen to have beans, that will draw them in.

 

Not sure if it's something you guys can do, but if you can, it might be the ticket to getting a second chance (hopefully you won't need it)...or a second buck.
