CROW,yikes.When I was a ute my hunting didn't stop at deer.Crow then chuck then carp then shark.

Never got too many  in the wild, them suckers are the smartest thing out there. :rant:There eyes are amazing.They send a scout before

the flock will come into decoys,AND the buggers can count too.  But the thrill of the hunt and just being out there like you said

was great.

I catch 5-10 a year. They have beautiful fur which most people don't know

True.  Skunks are cool animals.  Back when I used to trap bobcats for F&W, I'd let them out of the cage traps just by moving real slow and calm.  Never had an issue.

I did wildlife control for a few years and lost count of how many skunks I trapped.  Never had an issue letting them out of the cages, like you said, move slow and calm and they would just waddle out of the cage and go on their way.

Once upon a time Buudy had one as a Pet Called Flower DE_Skunked would walk around on a leash live in the house like a Cat he had me, baby,, sit when he went on vacation had a cage in Garage of Chicken wire and 2x4 one corner had a 2x4 gap that she got out Kids down the street knew I had one and carried it back after that they were regulars at my house playing with it.  They make Super Pets. and curl up on your laps. Cleaner than Cats. no odors.
