That had nothing to do with the promotion the OP started the thread about.   Between 1pm and 2pm today everything on their website was 40% off their prices & with free shipping to boot.

No wonder I had no problem

I fully support buying from DICKS in a loss-leader sale like today, or by going in and using one of their 20% off coupons on a single on sale item and then leaving the store.  Anything that costs them money is a good thing.

Just like the grocery store. They are all loss leader sales to get you in the store. One week is butter they buy at 50cents a lb and sell it for $4. Next week its in the flyer for $3.49 and they tell you they are taking a loss. BS
