Shadow Divers... Its a difficult-to-put-down book about two divers from NJ who found and finally identified a sunken German U-Boat off Belmar.  Having grown up in Point Pleasant, the book references familiar names and places such as the Seeker diving boat and the Harbor Inn (aka Horrible Inn) in Brielle.

I don't even have the time to read the newspaper each day .... as thoroughly as I want.

Maybe I should find the time to read more. Folks tell me that I am missing out on good stuff.

A while back, I bought a used hardcover copy of Duty by Robert Gates from Amazon. It just sat there for months until I finally threw it in the recycling.

Maybe I'll give one of the non-fictions listed here a try. I was attached to an armored unit in the Army. ..... so Rusty's book?

Check a dictionary, or actually utilize your spell check, sportsfan.

The Correct spelling I assume you are trying to convey is: “Proselytizing”.

I would attach the correct meaning, but I do not wish to offend, nor attempt to melt the internet snowflakes as you suggest.

Oh, this whiskey drinking, cigar smoking Marine, does not get “Bent out of shape” too easily. And I don’t care what others think. So, sorry to disappoint.

Now, as for the original poster requested for reading books:

Pretty much any books written by Gene Wensel. He and his brother are great outdoor writers pertaining to bow hunting.

Fred Abel: Archery books pertaining to shooting the bow and outdoor hunting tips.

For stories pertaining to Police, or the US Military. I would suggest W.E.B. Griffin.

Readings by: Clay Hayes: Pertaining to Bow hunting.

And do not forget the many Classic Novels:

Don Quixote Miguel De Cervantes

Robinson Crusoe Daniel Defoe

Frankenstein Mary Shelley

The Count of Monte Cristo Alexandre Dumas

Huckleberry Finn Mark Twain

The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Robert Louis Stevenson

Lord of the Flies William Golding

I feel very confident in what I said. My spelling may have been less than good, but my context is accurate. And it's very obvious you got bent out of shape regardless of your profession or self value.

I like none-fiction and from the list below you get the picture:-)

This is my last 10 book’s,  rated from 1 to 10, 1 being hard to put down.

I actually only read one of them, the rest are Audio books I listened to in my car. Two on the way and back from New Brunswick Canada hunt last September:-)

  1. Lone Survivor
  2. Unbroken
  3. The Billion Dollar Spy
  4. Outpost
  5. Blind Man’s Bluff
  6. Black Hawk Down
  7. American Sniper
  8. Generation Kill
  9. Roughneck Nine
  10. Shadow Warriors

Any interest in biographies?

We would have a lot less problems in this country if 1/2 the reading population read this.  On point again HH.

Its not even on subject. Just his attempt to start BS again. And this is after the grand and public announcement of placing me on his ignore list. Some people just love to stir the pot

I don't have time as well but I found the way. At least twice each week I drive to a hockey game 1/2 hr each way. I also drive to where I hunt almost an hour each way. So just these two activities place me in the car for about 184 hrs in one single year. I buy audio books and "read" in transit.

Buh-bye, C-Ya, Hasta la Huego, Auf Wiedersehen, and Au Revoir Corn-Holie-O. :happywave:

Ephesians Chapter 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Joshua Chapter 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
