I have a question regarding hunting preserves such as buttonwood or bent creek. do these places still require a pheasant stamp? all there website says is valid hunting license.thanks. and has anyone been to one of these? im thinking I may book a half day guided hunt with dog is about $200 for half day minus tipping the guide.

A pheasant stamp is only required if you wish to hunt state stocked game lands.  It is not required on a private preserve.  At least it was not last season.  I haven't hunted on a preserve in NJ this season...yet.

Call the preserve to verify what you need.

Yes all you need is a license, but check out Hunts Family Preserve. They are right in Lambertville and i think you’ll get a better experience. Good people

Do they offer "scratch" hunts?

Like said above no stamp needed just hunting license

The amount you pay is depending on the amount of birds you have stocked

If you have your own dog you don't need a guide but if you don't you will need a guide which is an extra cost.

If your south jersey check out game creek in woodstown
